My photo
My passion is decorating with vintage and antique finds on a budget. There was a time when I wouldn't have dreamed of going into a goodwill. That day has passed. :) My second love is scrapbooking all those special family moments for posterity, and I recently set up my very own scrapbooking room. I have three beautiful children, two sons and a daughter as well as a sweet (albeit full blooded Yankee) daughter-in-law and two grandgirls. I also enjoy gardening, meeting new friends and relaxing on my patio in the evenings with a glass of fine wine. During the summer of 2001, I spent two glorious weeks at Kennedy Space Center. I've been somewhat of a space geek ever since....

My Hunky New Love...

I'm in love........ It was delivered this week - my new stainless side by side refrigerator. Isn't it a beauty? My milk was spoiling in my old frig and the ice maker had been out for over a year so I felt it was time to take the plunge and upgrade. I'm SOOOOOO enjoying this baby. It really dresses up my kitchen, don't you think? Now it's time to prioritize what I'd like to do in the house and decide what can happen and what can't. My poor house is almost 18 years old and has had little done to it except for paint, so little changes (well in this case, BIG changes) make all the difference in the world. What do ya think of my new friend??????

    Looks great and we (Lynn) cleans ours with a little bit of lemon oil on a rag. The stainless steel cleaners never really worked well.

    Nice fridge. I sure could use a new one with the slimmer profile. Oh well maybe this one will kick the bucket soon.

    Nice frig! We bought a stainless a few years ago and my only complaint would be the kids fingerprints. The good news is they come off easily with just water :) Looking forward to exploring your blog more.
