The very day after I posted my last French chef tablescape, I stopped in at Tuesday Morning and found some beautiful chef themed salad plates. Wow, what a find! They came four plates to a set and each plate portrays a different chef. Sorry for the washed out look of the photos.... I think it's time for a new camera with higher megapixels. You can click on the photos to see more detail. The plates coordinate well with my brown and cream striped Fitz and Floyd china and the black glass chargers that I snapped up for $1.50 each on clearance at Hobby Lobby, don't you think? Please excuse the box of teacher stuff on the floor in the background that needs to go to school with me. Today was my first day back and my 32nd "first day of school." It's hard to believe I've been working that many years...

Love your plates Terri, I have the wine glass coasters to match. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 32nd first day of school. My daughter went back last week and the kids first day was this past Monday. Summer goes past way to quickly. I enjoyed peaking at your fun TS and charges for $1.50 was a great steal.

So cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThe search for dishes and the planning is half the fun, so I am sure you will do many more French tablescapes with these dishes! Can't wait to see the silverplate!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty and fun tablescape! Good luck with getting another school year under your belt. That is a long time to be teaching!
ReplyDeleteThose plates sure are whimsical and cute! Is school already starting? My, the girls are long grown and I don't even notice anymore. My neighbor just retired from teaching a year ago. You must love what you do to do it that long!

Your chef plates are adorable, but I'm sorry I can hardly comment on the tablescape because I was so distracted by your beautiful dining furniture!
ReplyDeleteI am so coveting your china cabinet and your sideboard, they are so unique and so, so beautiful! The wood is stunning, it is so warm and beautiful, and the drawer pulls too are fantastic!
You do set a very nice table, but you don't have to bother with those surroundings if I'm sitting there, I will be in awe of your furniture too much to notice what I'm eating or what I'm eating off of! Absolutely beautiful!
All the best,
Eileen
