My poor patio has been neglected lately. I've just been so busy with other stuff that until yesterday I hadn't bought a single bedding plant. That's not like me. I'm usually working in the yard before the danger of the last frost has passed. Here is my first humble attempt at bringing some color to my patio. I still have a trunk full of mulch for my beds. Planting flowers is lots more fun than weeding and mulching, don't you think?
Yes planting flowers is soooooooooo much better than cleaning out flower beds. I guess planting flowers is the reward for a hard job well done. Happy gardening. Sonia/Miss Bloomers
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that it'll still get done and be lovely.
ReplyDeleteYes I agree, plant away!! I'm in a condo so my gardening is well....non existent until I travel to our home in Washington state and then it's just catch-up and weed :0)
ReplyDeletePlanting flowers is the MOST fun -- and far above weeding and mulching on the priority list!
ReplyDeleteYou go -- plant and plant and plant some more. You won't regret it when everything has come into its full flower.

Planting flowers is MUCH more fun than weeding and mulching. Looks like a great start!
ReplyDeleteYour pots are pretty. I have the exact same blue pot you have on the left in the second picture. Actually I have two of them. I need to clean them out and plant something new in them.
ReplyDeleteI love container gardens because the weeds don't invade as much. I also love having fresh herbs in containers. My only herb that would stayed alive from last year was the common sage. Othere are growing from seed now.
ReplyDeleteThe climbing roses on the backyard pergola are the backyard prize. They wintered the freeze well.
When we painted our house and got new windows we freshened up some of our landscaping. It is endless, but if we keep at it each week hopefully we can keep those pesky weeds at bay.
